ToggleThe Mount Rinjani Summit Trek 2 Days 1 Night is a challenging trekking adventure designed for experienced hikers who want to reach the 3,726-meter summit of Mount Rinjani.
Starting from Sembalun Village and returning via the same route, this trek offers spectacular landscapes, an unforgettable sunrise at the summit, and overnight camping at the Sembalun Crater Rim inside Mount Rinjani National Park.

Who Is This Trek Suitable For?
Upon arrival at Lombok International Airport or harbor, our team will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Senaru Village. In the evening, you will meet your trekking guide for a full trip briefing, equipment check, and preparation for the climb.
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Sembalun Village (approximately 45 minutes). Registration is completed at the Mount Rinjani National Park Office before continuing to the trekking starting point at Kandang Sapi (1,100 m).
Trekking route details:
Enjoy a spectacular sunset, followed by dinner and overnight camping.
Wake-up call at 02:30 AM with a light breakfast. The summit trek begins at 03:00 AM.
The ascent includes steep trails, gradual ridges, and the final sandy volcanic slope known as Letter E of Rinjani. 06:00 AM – Reach the summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726 m) Enjoy panoramic sunrise views over Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
After approximately 30 minutes at the summit, descend back to the crater rim (around 2 hours). Breakfast is served at the campsite before continuing the descent to Sembalun Village via the same route. The hike down takes about 5 hours, including lunch at Post 2. The trek usually finishes around 2:00 PM.
Transfer is provided to the national park office for check-out, then onward to your next destination in Lombok.
